C.R.'s Bio page!!!
An old picture of some family members.
That's me in the Neru jacket.
I am a Business Professor at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point,
an amateur photographer, a back porch guitarist and a very mediocre chess player.
I am very happily married to the woman in the photo below (Janice).
Our engagement photo from the papers.
In a former life I was a systems analyst.
I have coded a fair amount of Fortran on a DEC PDP11/70 (A mini computer from long ago),
and have written a lot of Turbo Pascal on an IBM-XT clone (Long gone).
These days I have been playing with some small PERL programs.
My favorite network is still SneakerNet (Put your shoes on and carry the disk down the hall.)
though I do have a Linksys wireless system set up at home so Janice can use her laptop on the couch.
I make pictures using mostly Leica and Nikon gear, including an M4-P, an F100, and a D-70.
I have gone over to the dark side, and shoot 99% digital.
I probably cannot claim to make good pictures, but some months I make a lot of them.
